When drivers are asked what they look for in a truck, most say power and performance while others say technology and capabilities. The one thing they all agree on is the importance of durability. Many of these drivers choose the Ram 3500, a very popular pickup truck. With the rising costs of trucks and vehicle in general, drivers want a vehicle that will not only last a long time but is also strong enough to get the job done. We have several models of the Ram 3500 on hand at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Calallen and welcome you to come and test-drive a few.

A truck is typically only as strong as the material used to build it, and the Ram 3500;s frame is made with 50,000-PSI hydro formed steel. To add to its strength and efficiency, additional cross members are integrated into the frame. The same sturdy material is used on the rear and front rail contours to provide extra security to the suspension system. The Ram 3500's motor is a 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel 16, which offers a 14,000-lb maximum GVWR, a towing capacity of 31,210 lbs. and a 930 lb./ft. torque rating. These vehicles can go up to 15,000 miles without needing an oil change, which is also a plus to drivers.
